Tom Hess

Welcome to the Tom Hess guitar instructional website. Here you will find great resources and opportunities to greatly advance your musical goals.
I'm looking to work with "serious students" only (click here for my definition of "serious student"). As much as I truly love teaching, I don't have enough time in my schedule to teach every guitarist who would like to become a student. Because of this, I can only select guitar players who are serious about, and dedicated to, learning and achieving their musical goals. And of course I only select the guitarists whom I am confident I can help. If you want to become a student I have to ask you a few important questions.
  1. Have You been playing guitar for at least 6 months?
  2. If we work together will You be open minded and willing to learn and practice what I teach you - even if my methods are not what You may be used to?
  3. Do You think someone who has already successfully made it as a professional guitarist (has sold records worldwide and toured around the world) could help you reach your goals faster then You could without him?
  4. Do You think someone who has already successfully taught hundreds of guitarists to reach “their goals”, could help You reach Your goals faster then You could without him?
  5. Do You consider Yourself someone who has potential to reach Your goals if you work with the right teacher to help you?
  6. Are You willing to invest your time, your mental commitment and your money to study with me on a regular basis to manifest your goals into reality?
